Automation and real-time integration reduces the need for manual work, software flags errors, and AI queries the exact data points accountants need.

We believe accountants are increasingly operators of the financial tech stack.

We're building the future of financial software, where teams have real-time visibility into their finances, a single source of truth, and the tools to supercharge collaboration.

WHO WE ARE

We know that the old way of accounting can be tedious. We’ve lived it.

We have experienced founders and are fortunate to be well funded and be backed by great investors, including Founders Fund, Long Journey Ventures, and many founders and CFOs.

We are a small team and we plan on staying that way. We make tradeoffs to ensure that our team can operate with few distractions and maximal time for deep work.

How we Operate

We are an early startup, and our culture and values will continue to be defined by the people who join us on this journey. So expect our values to change over time as we incorporate new ideas and ensure they reflect the diversity of voices that make up Numeric.

Today, there are a few things that we double down on that we believe will lead to outsized early success.

  1. Trust & Autonomy — we are a small team with big ambitions. Speed is our advantage and we maximize it by equipping everyone with the knowledge, tools, and support to make important decisions and take ownership of their work. As a result, we get a lot more done than people expect us to.
  2. Curiosity — finance and accounting systems need a first-principled rethink. The ways in which we differentiate our product, company, and culture will be defined by our ability to challenge conventions and consistently embody a learning mindset. All team members engage with our customers and take an active role in identifying opportunities to define solutions & improve our product.
